We have Beach and Sima tile bodies which each have specific sizes and attributes. Below outlines specific attributes of each tile body but please know that we are happy to help choose tile body for each project.
Beach Tile Body
– White tile surface to paint on –
– Use for white on white, light pastels, bright colors, modern feel –

Sima Tile Body
– Terracotta colored tile surface to paint on –
– Use for rich, warm colors, dark colors, metallic glazes, earthier feel –
– Made in Italy –
– Suitable for interior residential & commercial floor, wall, fireplace surround, wet areas –
– Suitable for exterior, including pool / spa in non-freezing climates –
GLAZES
Most any of our glazes can be used on any tile pattern. If specifying tile for a pool or spa, let us know so we can test glazes for pool safe (acid safe.) If specifying tile for a floor, choose matte glazes.
Some glazes will look different on the two different tile bodies. Some glazes have high variation in color, please ask us if variation in color is a concern.
We have many more glazes available than shown on color palette. Please email us if there is a color you are wanting, most likely we have something close. Also, custom colors are possible, email us for pricing.
